*The Momoiro rabbit family is often incorrectly known as the Strawberry Rabbits because of the colour of their pink ears! However, the Japanese word "Momoiro" translates to the colour peachy pink. So if these rabbits were to be called by any fruit names, Peach Rabbits would be closest. 

This beautiful family are extremely rare and were only available through the Japanese Fan Club in 2009 and later as part of a token collection scheme at the official Morino Ouchi store in Japan. The sister was the renewal gift, but to obtain the rest of this family you had to collect points from buying items at the Sylvanian Official and later also the official Online store. One point was obtained for every 10 000Yen purchased, and to get the whole family, you had to collect 130 points in total! (20 For the baby, 30 for the brother and 40 for each of the parents!) This family was discontinued at the end of 2018 and are no longer available. 

In 2019, to celebrate 10 years since the release of the Momoiro rabbit family, the sister was re-released and now has a more pink colour and a slightly different dress and was packaged in a plastic baggie on brown card instead of the beautiful pink boxes of before! To get this figure, you had to collect 40 stamps at the Morino Ouchi store in Japan. I am yet to find one of the newer Momoiro sisters for my collection.   

Like most older Japanese figures, they have no official names, so I have decided to give them unofficial names of my own.
