*The Hedgehog family was first released in the UK in around 1991, however this 2015 version is the first time that a hedgehog family made their way into the Japanese line. These figures are adorable in their brightly coloured outfits and I think this version of the hedgehogs is my very favorite of all! Although they did not have official names and biographies, they did come with little story books that give a glimpse into the everyday lives of these critters. 

They have a hard cap on their backs, which secures to the figure by means of two spikes, which are easily broken if not handled carefully. The spikes are just a piece of woolly material that secures to the hard cap by means of elastic.
